PULSE (of Groove Academy) - Live at The Basement Door Richmond, Friday 24 October 2014. These clips are arranged in reverse order so the majority of familiar repertoire is at the end. This was a great opportunity for the band but we had a big challenge to cover everything on the drums last night. With Aaron now away at uni and young John (14yrs) taking over as the new drummer for the band, John was thrown in the deep end and had to learn most of the drum parts in just one rehearsal. Such a champ for holding it down and remembering everything! Elliot (left on guitar) and Ashley (right on vocals) made an impressive debut with the band and had to learn everything in a very short timeframe. Sadly, Talor couldnt be with us to complete the vocal lineup due to a family engagement. As you can see, I had a little too much fun helping out on the carnival drumming there...someone really needs to confiscate those sticks and return my egg shaker...lets not even explain why!! haha. A big Thank you to Kevin Silver Fox Westbury and the crew at The Basement Door for inviting us to be part of such a fantastic event. Enjoyed listening to all the participating groups. Well done everyone!
