PUNGENT POINT #1522 – No religious name or identity that will not be in heaven ought to be adopted on earth. If there are not going to be Catholics, Baptists, Methodists, Presbyterians, Christian Churches, Lutherans . . . etc. in heaven, who is able to justify such divisions being on earth? The word from heaven is, “that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment” (1 Cor 1:10). It is time for professing Christians to take that admonition seriously. The thing that distinguishes believers from unbelievers is their manner and conduct, not their name. – Given O. Blakely
