THIS WEDNESDAY 18th SEPT Open Meeting To Discuss Formation of Cahir Chamber Upcoming local government changes in the county will have an impact on the business community in Cahir. With that in mind, a number of interested parties have held an initial meeting to discuss the formation of a new Chamber of Commerce for Cahir and its environs. Clonmel Chamber of Commerce is one of the largest in Munster and is regarded as one of the most dynamic in Ireland. The board and staff of Clonmel Chamber have offered to work with businesses in Cahir to create a business group to represent the business interests of Cahir and to assist us in developing our companies. As part of this alliance Cahir Chamber members will have access to the full range of services and products that Clonmel Chamber members currently enjoy. In addition Cahir members will also receive assistance with meetings, events and initiatives to benefit the business community in Cahir. An open meeting will be held on Wednesday, September 18th at 6.15pm in Cahir House Hotel to discuss the formation of a Chamber. The meeting will be chaired by Brian Cleary, Chief Executive of Clonmel Chamber. This meeting is open to all businesses with an interest in having the interests of Cahir businesses represented professionally in a manner that will benefit the town.
