PUT YOUR READING CLASSES ON AND SET DOWN!!! I am getting so weary from listening to the half- truths, misleading information coming from the Federal Government (All branches, departments and parties) via the all media sources especially TV. QUESTION: October 17th, 2013 will the Federal Government default on its financial obligations? ANSWER: If they do, the initial decision will be totally 100% the President and his executive branches call. They will not be broke and will continue have probably over $200 BILLION per month to use to take care of our Financial obligations. WHY: 1. The October 17th date is merely the estimated date that the Federal Government will have borrowed all it can under the current limits set by law. a. For the Federal Government to default the next day would be like: i. Me defaulting the next day after I fully advanced the maximum amount of my authorized loan previously agreed to between myself and my lenders. ii. The same day I also lost my job and any ability to earn money to pay financial obligations. iii. I had no money owed to me that I could collect. iv. In other words I would be BROKE! v. This example is not realistic for me or most people and definitely not the Federal Government 2. It is fairly common knowledge that the Federal Government this past year has collected more revenue than any previous year in our history. THAT IS NOT GOING TO STOP ON OCTOBER 17TH! 3. Based on the past 3 years of revenue, it can be conservatively estimated that the Federal Government will take in at least $200 BILLION during the month of October, $200 Billon in the month of November, $200 Billion in the month of December and for every month for the for seeable future (months). Unless of course someone scares everyone to death and/or creates great road blocks so they quit working and quit spending. 4. Some more good news: the vast majority of the financial leaders of this country, the people who run companies that produce the products and services, know and will agree with what I have just outlined in a very simple way. Maybe the TV networks will start asking the people who really know finances and are not blinded by their political party affiliations. I have also for your reading pleasure attached some factual information about DEFAULT. We need to start acting like the parents and realize the federal government is like one of our spoiled children who have gone off to college and think they are smarter than their parents and have been foolishly spending way more than what they and we can afford. We need to FIRMLY and LOVINGLY say NO MORE, SLOW DOWN, BE RESPONSIBLE, and LIVE ON YOUR BUDGET, because we are not funding your foolish life style anymore. Respectfully;
