PUTTING YOUR TRUST IN GOD! Yesterday we discussed 10 reasons why its dangerous for you to put your trust in human being. If we agree that it is not safe to trust in man, then what does it take to put ones trust in God? Today we will look at 10 ways to explain what putting ones trust in God is all about: 1. Believing that God is able to do what you trust Him to do 2Cor. 9:8 2. Believing that God will only grant your request at the right and appointed time Hab. 2:3 3. Believing that your desires may not be what God wants for you Isaiah 65:8 4. Believing that those that put their trust in God wont be disappointed Prov. 23:18 5. Believing that all good and perfect gifts come from God alone James 1:17 6. Believing that if God does not help you, man cannot help you 2King 6:27 7. Believing not in any alternative sources of help except God Isaiah 31:1 8. Believing in power of prayer and making your requests known to Him through it Phil 4:6 9. Believing that for by power and strength no man shall prevail 1Sam2:9 10. Believing that knowing, serving and staying true to God are required to have access and to receive from Him. NOTE: Relying only on God for helps shows and proves our dependent state of living on Him. While putting our trust in man is an act of limiting the ability of God in helping us.
