PWAP’s Food For Thought: “God’s Lawn Service” – God has a lawn service, but don’t allow His work to make your nervous; for, His purpose in all that He decides to do is to fulfill His purpose in you. His lawn contract declares, “Fret not thyself because of evil doers; for, soon they will be cut off like the green herb.” This means that although there may be much rain in your life, and your enemies may seem to be growing tall like green grass out of control, fear not. God will soon take His lawn mower, cutting it down so that it will dry up and die. You may even notice that you seemed to have friends all around you during one season, but in this season, friends are few, and it’s all because God is trimming those hedges that are blocking your way, making your way clear to move forward and to see Him clearly. Cutting them back so that the enemy doesn’t have access to hide and sneak up on you, to steal, kill, and destroy. There are a few trees that He will have to cut down all because they took root early, and have grown tall and sturdy, but serve no purpose, just an eye sore. These are those habits that you allowed to take root, and that you’ve fed over the years, causing them to grow, and the hate and unforgiveness that you’ve allowed to take root and grow into bitterness, resentment, and revenge. Yes, your life may look a mess right now because the rain only seems to be making the grass and weeds grow out of control. It may take time, but God is fulfilling His contract to cut back, cut down, and trim away to make your life a beautiful scenery. Therefore, I encourage you to hire God today to take care of the lawns of your lives, making it all that He has ordained and created it to be. I approve this message for “God’s Lawn Service”.
