Pacific Rim National Park is offering an Alternative Trail Building course with 3 seats available for Yuułuʔiłʔatḥ citizens. Dates: Friday October 3 & Saturday October 4 Location: Long Beach Area. Specific location will be communicated closer to the date Description: This training course looks at maintenance of trails that require alternative solutions and methods for building and supplies. Its a great introduction to alternative trail building, which is useful for rugged/remote trails/access points and can save on building costs by utilizing materials found in the natural environment that can be re-purposed. This training is a valued skill that can be a benefit for those employed or seeking employment with public works or campground maintenance.
