Pacific language weeks continue in September and October Following on from the successful Samoa, Cook Islands and Tonga language weeks, the next two months will see four more Pacific language weeks celebrated across the country. The inaugural Tuvalu language week will take place from 30 September-October 6 and be followed closely by the inaugural Fiji language week from 7-13 October and Niue Language Week from 13-19 October. The 2013 Pacific language week programme will round out with Tokelau Language Week from 28 October-November 3. If you attend a Pacific language week event, you can expect to experience cultural and language activities, island cuisine, music, traditional stories and more.
