Packers WIN! Whiskey River take my mind! And now, commentary by sports authority Rod Scheuer: (1) Player of the game? Defensive lineman Mike Daniels. Despite being held on almost every play (never a flag did we see), he played a huge game. Controlled the line of scrimmage to a large degree and put a ton of pressure on Tony Romo all by his lonesome. (2) Gutty performance by Aaron Rodgers. He is obviously not himself because of the calf injury but is a soldier. He learned from the best, Brett Favre. (3) Julius Peppers. Big time players make BIG plays in big games and he had several. (4) The offensive line. Stalwart play! (5) Eddie Lacy. The lad is tough. (5) The catch that wasnt ruled a catch, WAS a catch. Dont bother quoting the rules. (A)The guy caught and retained the ball for several steps. (B) If the interpretation is that he lost control of the ball when it hit the ground, then it was a fumble, because his knees were clearly down before the ball hit the ground. (C) He recovered his own fumble. (D) Ill take it. Its the Cowboys. Screw em, ya know? (6) Will someone please tell Ted Thompson that Morgan Burnett is NOT an NFL starter quality safety. As ive said before, im sure he is a fine young man, but hes a lousy tackler and cant cover in pass defense. What does that leave, he has a good time running the 40? (7) Were in the final 4!
