Packing a bag for a final trip to New Orleans before the flight out next week... Eight days to go, before another lengthy stay in Europe. I highly recommend the experience, my fellow Americans. Its like going over to spend time with Mom and Dad. Its not overrun with Muslim teenage hordes, waiting to kill precious American tourists, and Ive found that Europe has a good bit to teach us - just as we had much to teach them when we broke ranks and formed our nation. Ill soon be back in the land of that harsh, precise, and beautiful mother language of German - which is such a reflection of the German peoples. And I cannot wait to take an excellent client on a tour of the battlefields and historical sites of Germany, Luxembourg, Belgium, the Netherlands, and France, after this Christmas Market tour is over. Some may think I have an enviable life... and I do. But I still have my things in storage, stay with Mom and Dad when in the USA, and drive a car with 208,000 miles on it. But to get to do what I love, sharing knowledge of history, culture, and food with others, is one of the most important and wonderful activities any human could ever have... And yeah, I still get nervous and even a bit scared before I leave. But the same thing happens when I get ready to leave Europe and come back, too. :P
