Paddy OLeary came back from the pub after downing a few pints and one extra and after careful driving tucked his car safely in the garage when he heard a knock on the door. He peeked out the window and saw officer Muldoon so fearing he had been spotted and thinking quickly he hopped in his bed clothes and poured a glass of whiskey spilling a splash on his robe for good measure. He opened the door and said officer Muldoon, aye, how can I help you? Paddy, Muldoon said. Were you at the pub tonight perhaps? Paddy answered, why no officer, I came directly home and poured myself a small glass of whiskey and have been sitting in that chair all night! Muldoon looked a bit embarrassed and said may I have a peek in your garage anyway Paddy? Not a problem said a confident Paddy and opened the door to the garage revealing the officers car with engine running and lights flashing.
