Page: 3 P.N.G, AUST TO ADDRESS MANUS ASYLUM ISSUES By ISAAC NICHOLAS FOREIGN Minister Rimbink Pato has given his assurance to the people and the Manus government that Australia and Papua New Guinea will resolve issues relating to the asylum processing centre on the island. Mr Pato on his return from the UN General Assembly through Australia, had a talk with Australia’s foreign minister Julie Bishop who wanted a meeting by next week to resolve some of the issues. He said he also held a long discussion with Prime Minister Tony Abbott in New York on the Manus processing centre and was happy that there was now some clarity in terms of the instructions in the way forward to resolve some of the issues.
