I believe the time has now come for our faith communities to become a counter-cultural presence, a force to challenge the tin gods of fame and power and success which are great for those who win, but hell for those who lose; and to protest against a world, a society, that knows the price of everything and the value of nothing, as it travels the road of economic affluence and spiritual poverty, of ever stronger governments and markets and ever weaker families and communities. So what can be said of sin & spiritual negligence? My experience have taught me me this truth: sin always costs you more than you want to pay, takes you further than you want to go and keeps you longer than you want to stay. "sin, in its last analysis, in its most horrible form, is infidelity to love. It hurts God, it destroys a NATION/SINNER. God can never condone sin, but He can and does redeem the SINNER/NATION."
