Pageant Waves, Everybody!!! This is your MISS ALABAMA post of the day here on MANIC MONDAY as we are now a mere six days away from Caitlin capturing the Miss America crown. I mean, when I saw today that she lists her original birthplace as SEATTLE, which is the hometown of my GRACE Candi, I just KNEW that good runway karma was floating my way from both ends of the spectrum, dahlings! Yes, Caitlin is a royal import, since her daddy was an NFL quarterback for years and she lived all around. However, we shall take her and claim her as our own, since she now resides and attends college right here in SWEET HOME ALABAMA! SEE THE CROWN, BE THE CROWN, YOU ARE THE CROWN! Of course, this year I think I may end up in a freakin throwdown (a la the final scene from Miss Congeniality) before all the runway dust settles as my awesome friend Ellen is rooting for HER Miss Georgia and my insane amigo John has already proposed not having the pageant and just giving HIS Miss Mississippi the crown .... NOT GONNA HAPPEN, JOHN BOY! I mean, SERIOUSLY ... you wouldnt be able to live another year if they denied you the glamorous annual televised drama from Atlantic City ... and you KNOW IT, you big ole Southern drama queen.
