Pages 45-46 of our book “Word Power!” When you stop trying to pass over the significance of words and start believing God when He Himself tells us that we WILL be held accountable for EVERY IDLE WORD we speak, then you will begin to realize just how many words we are indeed being held accountable for! So even if we are leaders of a Church, work hard, lead good lives and are pillars of our community, we have opened the door to allow God to Damn many of the things that surround us by our words that we chose to speak. Even from childhood. If we look at how many times we cursed, or damned something, we would realize that we have spoken hundreds of thousands of curses into our own lives. Then our reaction is to turn around when something bad happens as a result and blame God or ask “why me?” Let us take another example of something you hear others say and might even say yourself quite often: “I am so sick and tired of …….” Here you have proclaimed that you are 2 things: “sick” and “tired.” When you begin to realize just how many times that phrase may have been used in a multitude of scenarios you can again easily have spoken them hundreds of thousands of times in your life. Now just for a moment, if you just take those 2 examples I have given you here and add in every single other word that comes from your mouth, you can begin to see a MOUNTAIN of curses and words that profess bad into your own life. “I hate that” is a simple phrase used quite often that can change how a mind and a heart react to things. Hate is a very powerful emotion and trumps Love. We are commanded many times over to Love and to express the light of Love of God yet when we use our own mouth to proclaim ‘hate’ over anything, we remove the wishes of our Father and insert our own authority over our lives and bring in evil thoughts and hatred. Yes, there are extremely rare occurrences where hate can be acceptable in the proper form and provision in God’s eyes, but that is also abused to make excuses to expand hatred and that, my friends, should not be! I will ask you now to take a moment to reflect on ALL words you use from your mouth and then take a moment or even days to reflect and open your eyes to see and ears to hear revelation of God’s Word letting you know just how much Power your words were given in you having authority over the direction of your own life! peacebestill.org/WordPower/WordPower-WrittenBy_BlakePeace.pdf
