Comprised of five (5) members appointed by Council for terms of five (5) years each. Powers of the Board include interpretation of the District Map, administrative review, and variances. Meetings are held on the third Thursday of each month at 7:30 pm in Courtroom #1. Parks and Recreation Commission: 1 vacancy. Consisting of five (5) members appointed by City Council based on recommendations from the Administration, for three (3) year staggered terms, shall represent a cross section of citizens with an interest in community enhancement, an understanding of the benefits of Parks and Recreation, and the ability to promote the goals and objectives of Parks and Recreation. It is the duty of the Parks and Recreation Commission to serve in an advisory capacity to the Administrative staff on matters of Recreation Programming and Park development. (Meets the fourth Tuesday of the month, and on call) at 7:30 PM at the Recreation Office, 54 Mentor Avenue.
