Maeda Atsuko liked “10 Things I Hate About You” because she could relate to Kat. She didn’t have great relationships back in high school and the very boyfriend she had was a jerk that only wanted to be with her, because she was the council president and because, apparently, everyone in school considered her “A beauty”. And it was the same during her days in University, with the only change that, she met her current lover. Atsuko looked at her right and met with the intense stare of Takahashi Minami. -You are smiling like an idiot, you know? – Minami said and slightly poked Atsuko’s cheek. Atsuko pouted and then turned the TV off. She placed the now empty bowl, previously full of popcorn, and her expression changed to a more serious one. -Say… Do you hate anything about me? Minami looked at her for a moment before smiling. She moved and sat right behind Atsuko, wrapping her arms around her girlfriend and resting her chin on Atsuko’s shoulder. -You just want me to say it like in the movie don’t you? – Minami whispered. Atsuko nodded slightly, making Minami laugh. – You know I can’t rhyme right? So… I will just count… Minami grabbed both Atsuko’s hands and lifted them a bit. -One, - Minami started counting with Atsuko’s fingers, placing them down one by one – I hate when you come home late. Two, I hate when you cry. Three, I hate when you make me worry. Four, I hate when I see you ignoring me. Five, I hate when you smile and say that it’s fine, when it’s not. Six, I hate when you get angry. Seven, I hate when you cook – Atsuko slapped Minami’s thigh and the smaller woman giggled – Eight, I hate when you say that you aren’t pretty. – Atsuko blushed – Nine, I hate when you overwork. Ten, I hate the way you look at me when you want something and I hate when I just give in to any of your request. –Minami then whispered in Atsuko’s ear - “But mostly I hate the way I dont hate you. Not even close, not even a little bit, not even at all.” – Minami then kissed her girlfriend’s cheek and hugged her tighter. Atsuko stayed in silence for a couple of minutes, enjoying the way Minami was hugging her so warmly and lovingly. She couldn’t help but smile. -So… - She turned around and glared at Minami – You hate my cooking, huh? Minami’s eyebrows twitched. -Err… I DIDN’T SAY THAT! – She yelled as she ran away, towards their bedroom, as fast as she could, with a –fake- angry Atsuko following her right behind. -I’M SO GONNA MAKE YOU EAT ALL THE MEALS I COOK FROM NOW ON! – Atsuko’s threat her girlfriend while opening the bedroom door. -NO! I WILL NOT!!! -COME HERE! YOU COWARD!!! -DO NOT WANT!!! Finally, the couple ended up laughing in bed as they began a tickling war. -I love you – Minami said once the war was over and they were hugging each other. -And I hate you – Atsuko said. Both laughed once more, before deciding that it was time to sleep. -thelonewolf48/Mango
