Pakistan: A nation of 200 million, having 5th largest standing army armed with nuclear arsenal but doomed by sheer the incompetency, corruption, nepotism and absence of any strategic thought or culture of multiple regimes, both military and civilian, who have done everything except governing this state. Present government is no exception to this. Now when PSO has run out of money and petrol both, there are rumors lurking around that government may ask PSO to use strategic reserve of Pakistan armed forces to run the airlines and railways. If true, this is a dangerous development as Pakistan armed forces themselves are in great need of fuel to keep the operations against terrorists running. Amid this complex situation, the finance minister has revealed that actually this is a conspiracy against this government. The way sensitive statecraft in this country are being handled by the federal government of PML(N), it would be prudent to ask if this government even qualifies to govern the country in the first place. Our answer is NO! because if a government can be compromised so easily and if it cannot even foresee the requirements of oil and fuel just for couple of months, then it has no right to remain in power.
