Pakistan Ambassador in Romania trying to give its citizens a chance Romania began at last to hire workers from Pakistan to face chronic labor shortage in sectors such as textiles or construction, writes Wednesday Pakistani daily The Post, quoted by Rompres. The first 40 workers who will work in a Romanian company in Resita, will arrive soon in Bucharest, said Pakistani Ambassador to Romania, Mian Sanaullah. He told cited as Romania is facing a shortage of more acute semiskilled and skilled labor and engineers. Today, Romania is interested in importing technicians, engineers, drivers in China, India, Bangladesh and Pakistan and contacted these countries after exhausting the possibilities of recruiting labor from neighboring countries such as Ukraine, Moldova, Serbia and Macedonia.
