Pakistan players hit with social media ban #ICCCWC2015 Pakistan cricket players have been banned from using social media during the upcoming ICC Cricket World Cup in Australia and New Zealand as the side looks to avoid distractions during the marquee event. Team manager Naveed Akram Cheema confirmed to The Hindu newspaper this week that the social media ban was a part of the Pakistan World Cup squad members’ central contracts and any transgressions would carry a severe penalty.
