Pakistani COAS General Raheel Sharif has extended the cooperation to Afghan authorities in training Afghan National Army in Pakistani military institution with a provision of supply of Pakistani made arms for Afghan forces. He also said that a stable Afghanistan is in the best interest of Pakistan. Afghan government must take this offer seriously while contemplating an official answer. Afghanistan, and due to it. the entire region presents a bleak security profile. Afghanistan needs a strong national Army to keep the various insurgents, criminals and warlords in check. Pakistan needs a peaceful Afghanistan to ensure the safety of its 1800 Km long unmanned and unenforced border with Afghanistan.
