Pakistani PM visited China this week. ------------------------------------------------- It was first foreign state visit by Pakistani PM Nawaz Sharif and as usual claimed to be successful. Pakistani state is in deep energy crisis and leaders are looking for help from Chinese Government in energy sector. Pakistani state is facing dire consequences no doubt this time but there is no hope to come out of this kind of deep economic crisis sooner. Just like previous PPP Government has badly failed PMLN government will meet the same fate very soon. Pakistani state has not only been in economic crisis but its entire society has degenerated. Instead of becoming modern secular state based of citizenship, society has gone back to pre-capitalist tribal era. It has been due to the state policies adopted by military dictators. Military dictators have pushed back the society deliberately because they wanted to militarize it so that they can create division among civilians. To gain support from civil society, military created so many militant groups and their religious political fronts in the country. Now these militant groups and their political fronts are competing with each other to gain economic benefits. Military generals have collected lot wealth during this period and have created new economic class. Pakistani army itself has become a financial institution which already owns multi-billion Dollar business, including Banks, defense housing societies in every city, Fouji foundation, Shaheen Foundation, Behriya Foundation has been in business since long time and now became multi-billion dollars industries. Army itself has been occupied large portion of state economy and now its economic interests are clashing with civilians one. These opposing economic groups have activated their militants and political fronts also and net results are bloodshed in the streets of Pakistani cities and towns. These groups had previously controlled by army secret services through financing and training but now they seem to have gained direct access to their financers and their financers have been using them to promote their own regional, religious and sectarian agenda in the region. Pakistani state has not only failed to control its own created terrorist groups which have made this state ungovernable but could not build basic needed infrastructure to run its administration properly. Pakistani state at this juncture cannot run its day to day affairs with foreign help. China can only provide help in those sectors where its companies can get financial gains. Chinese companies cannot build required state based institutions to control mismanagement, corruption, lack of governance etc but can only invest where they can get profit. There is a lot of potential in many sectors to invest and gain profit. China is interested to invest in energy sector due to great potential of earning profit and already Chinese companies have been working on many mega projects. Pakistani state needs to change its entire structure to fulfill its present needs because population has reached 170 million and state structure was created when population was only 70 million. Some of us think that Pakistani state is may be slipping away from its previous masters due to regional rivalries and geo-political changes in the region and internationally. It seems like Pakistani elites are falling from American laps to Chinese one. Unfortunately, Pakistani state elites once had declared Jihad against communist Soviet Union and Communism was officially declared system of infidels but Alas! Chinese Communism has been accepted as Halal one. Now everyone in Pakistan praises Chinese Communism due to its development but no one is ready to adopt this good system for the benefit of Pakistani citizens. How China is going to help this kind of self destructive society where citizens have been made to believe that progress is Kufer, development is anti God, education is against religion etc. Pakistani society is a mixture of contradictions but still every Pakistani believes that their country is the best one. Even though, major portion of its society wishes to have best facilities of life but thinks like medieval tribal people. Chinese help would not work out until people shun their medieval political and religious ideas. Neither one can make progress for others nor foreign countries can develop degenerated country such as Pakistan. Pakistani state does not increase its own income and foreign aid is just like an addiction for it because it gives occasional help to survive but it is not permanent solution.
