Palau president calls Jan. 3 meeting at abai Republic of Palau President Tommy Remengesau is calling for a meeting with all Palauans residing on Guam. Remengesau wants to provide an update on the issues and events in Palau, including improvements to the water system; and the proposed visit from Emperor Akihito next year, which marks the 70th anniversary of the end of World War II in the Pacific.
