Palestine to join the International Criminal Court on April 1, - TopicsExpress

Palestine to join the International Criminal Court on April 1, pursuing war crime charges against the state of Israel. The Israeli government then decided to withhold the transfer of tax funds to the Palestinian Authority, with Netanyahu saying, The Palestinian Authority has chosen confrontation with Israel, and we will not sit idly by. He then said it would be the leaders of the PA who will answer to the court, not Israels, which is basically equatable to kicking someone in the groin, claiming self-defense when they sue you, and then threatening to countersue them for the injury to your foot. Welp, I suppose its as Cersei Lannister said, The truth will be what you make it. So long as people dont question or criticize, the truth is irrelevant. Meanwhile the official count is 2,014 Gazans dead for Israels attacks this summer, and 108,000 left homeless. Israels crimes are continuously and unanimously condemned by the UN, the most recent condemnation in 2011, again unanimously supported by all except one (wanna guess who?) , regarded Israeli colonialism in East Jerusalem and the West Bank, which has resulted in the demolition of 28,000 Palestinian homes since the unlawful occupation began in 1967. The resolution was nevertheless vetoed by the United States as per business as usual. Heres hoping then that Palestines going to the Hague will get somewhere, since our government has dedicated itself to complicity in Israels continued criminal policies. Personally I think George W. and Netanyahu would quite enjoy each others company in a prison cell.
