Palmer College’s San Jose Campus Homecoming 2014 event, May 2-4, features a multi-track seminar program with more than two-dozen distinguished speakers – including Christine Goertz, D.C., Ph.D., the vice chancellor for research and health policy at Palmer. She spent four years as an independent scientist and in research administration positions of increasing responsibility at the Samueli Institute and was a program officer at the National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine, National Institutes of Health, managing a $50 million portfolio focused on musculoskeletal disease, pain, and health services research. She is also Chair of the American Chiropractic Association Performance Measurement Workgroup, and a member of the American Medical Association, Measures Implementation and Evaluation Advisory Committee, Physician Consortium for Performance Improvement.
