A local young athlete in my home town was recently dismissed from his track team because he was displaying a pink mohawk in show of his support for his mother who had breast cancer. I believe his story is worth your time and consideration. A couple of weeks ago the Ellen show gave a little boy cup cakes and a check for $10,000.00 because he was talking back to his mother over cupcakes and the you tube video went viral. Yes the little fellow was cute but very disrespectful! Maybe ELLEN will give Mike Barkers story some consideration! After all Mike was doing something meaningful and took a stand for what he believes in !!! Knowing Mike personally he certainly deserves an apology from the school and something good to happen to him as well!!!!
