Ann did take over the payroll, retirement, insurances,and payroll taxes after she fired Ms. Hamby for embezzlement, which shouldnt have happened had Ann done her job! When I took over the job after Ann had been doing it, it was a total nightmare! Long story short, Ann Nicholas had cost the county over $17,000.00 dollars! She was paying retirement and insurance on employees that were no longer employed with Miller County and had been for months. She also paid numerous penalties and interest to the IRS for late or unpaid payroll taxes! State taxes, same thing. It took me a month to get it all straightened out and begin the process of trying to recover that money, which I did! I have proof! This is just one of the many incompetent things I witnessed while being under her employment! More to come later...stay tuned!
