Pamela Day Baldwin June 6, 1947 – October 21, 2013 The Interfaith Alliance of Idaho PO Box 15893 Boise, Idaho 83715 Instrumental in our founding, Pam Baldwin served for a decade as the Executive Director and lifeblood of The Interfaith Alliance of Idaho. An activist and organizer in the Gem State for over 20 years, she dedicated her life to Justice and Equality. Pams passing, a year ago today, broke our hearts. For her husband, Bob; her children, Tiffany, Christopher, Gina, and Matthew; her brother, John; and her family and friends from all over our world. May you find comfort in the warmth of her memory and legacy, which we witness everyday, in the good deeds, activism, and compassion of every Idahoan whose life she touched. She would have been rejoicing with us these last few weeks as Marriage Equality roared through the country, right up to the doorsteps of her beloved state. Pam’s legacy is rooted in her passion to protect the rights of Idahoans from every walk of life, fighting hate, intolerance, and any form of prejudice; in bringing together people of many faiths to take on homelessness, as a founding organizer for Interfaith Sanctuary; in standing up for the oppressed and misunderstood, educating all about the needs of people in Idaho, the Northwest and the country. She was a friend to all and an advocate for all faith groups. And finally, her legacy rests with each of us; continuing her legacy means we are ALL responsible for nurturing and investing in our children. The Pam Baldwin Memorial Fund and Scholarship sends Idaho youth to conferences and workshops, instilling in them the very same passion that drove her. We miss you and honor you, Pam!
