Pan Africanism as a liberatory and nation building ideology as - TopicsExpress

Pan Africanism as a liberatory and nation building ideology as espoused by the PAC of Azania, is understood and practiced in terms of three key intertwined perspectives and principles namely; African Nationalism, Scientific Socialism, and Continental Unity. African Nationalism is understood as a rallying force to Unite Africans beyond tribe and ethnicity and forge African Geo-political and Economic unity of Africans whilst being cognizant that expansion of capitalism resulted in the emergence of foreign domination particularly in the form of white supremacy being a manifestation imperialism. Capitalism has manifested itself in varying but related forms such as white supremacy, colonialism, and neo-colonialism. Therefore, Pan Africanism is part of the International Socialist Revolution to abolish the dominance of propertied class and capitalist social relations. Hence, the right to self-determination and national sovereignty can be fully realized only if it is based on a political system that entrust ownership of the means of production and equitable distribution of wealth to be under socialist democratic control and management of African workers and communities.
