Panda Drive In on a rainy day in1959.....Spokane, Washington. Great 19 cent burgers including something called the pizza burger. There were several locally owned Panda drives ins sprinkled throughout the city. This one was located at the western entrance to Spokane on US highway 10 prior to Interstate 90s completion. The completion of the new freeway all but killed traffic at this once thriving location. The only remaining Panda location became a Dicks Hamburgers sometime in the early sixties. The former panda mascot still graces their sign.
