It happened so some days ago when our batch mate Sandip Bhonsale who is probably best connected with school even today than anybody of us learned about the plight of an lady who we all know and best remember from our bygone school days as somebody who toiled everyday for us and our school. For almost 35 to 40 years she served our school almost non stop . Any idea who the lady from the uploaded snaps is.......? Ya...she is none other than Ms Pavitrabai Dhale. Her entire family including her husband, his son Sanjay and daughter- in- law all have contributed for our school. Many of you are aware that Sanjay after 10th joined our school as a peon. This was not the easiest of choices for him. But due to some prevailing circumstances he gave away the hopes of continuing the studies. His wife now also looks after the primary section the ‘old daffodils....’ as we use to call. Anyways...ing back to the point Ms Pavitrabai is paralyzed for last two years and is totally bedridden. Her condition is not improving either although her speech, memory & eyesight in particular are still sharp. They may require some backing in terms of financial aid etc. Although they have not demanded anything from us. As mentioned it was Sandip who saw the situation and called me. He in fact, has also passed on the information to our juniors and seniors. We together visited her home last week and decided to just share this episode with you guys.
