Papa said his goodbyes yesterday after being with Jack for the last 3 1/2 weeks. He got back home safely last night. Thank you for your prayers for a safe trip home! He only saw a couple smiles out of Jack the whole time he was there. Jack slept most of the time. But Jack is still making baby step improvements and they feel he is actually starting to feel better. He didnt sleep as much today or have as much diarrhea or bloody stools. He did have a fever last night but the cultures have come back negative so far. He was given 24 hour antibiotics and sent home. They have also figured out the issue with his platelets. Jack is building antibodies against the platelets he has been receiving. But they do have a way to fix it. These pictures were from yesterday but Jack is doing better today. Baby steps Jack, baby steps!! Thanks for all of your prayers, he really needs them! #swabforjack #stjude #babysteps #fightjackfight
