Papis Advice for today: I heard a song by Kristian Bush (Jennifer Nettles partner in Sugarland) and a line in the song inspired me for todays advice. Never seen a hearse with a trailer hitch. So many of us fight tooth and nail and by hook or by crook we fight, steal, lie, cheat and do all kinds of despicable things to gain a buck or two over the other guy. WHY do we do this. We all go out the same way: without a damn thing. Never seen a hearse with a trailer hitch? Never seen a way to take it with you. INSTEAD of doing everything to get and have MORE than the other guy and trying to have the most THINGS why not try to see how many people we can befriend (REALLY befriend too not just in name only) or try to see how much good we can do or try to see how we can help those that need a hand. Just try to spend less time acquiring THINGS and spend more time being a decent human to each other. I do not care if you call it being Christian of if you call it being Nice. Labels do NOT matter in this one folks. My advice for the day is be nicer & just see how much better you will feel about yourself. I am not saying that you have to give it all away & that you have to short yourself or your family to help others but just do not worry so much about WHAT you can amass.
