Paramount Pictures today released the trailer for Selma, a feature film about the 1965 civil rights campaign in Selma, Alabama, that mobilized hundreds of Unitarian Universalists as allies of African Americans fighting for their rights. The film, which includes actors portraying the UU martyrs in Selma, the Rev. James Reeb and Viola Liuzzo, is scheduled for release January 9.
