Paramount has moved the upcoming Mission Impossible 5 from December 25th all the way to July 31st. the film is directed by Jack Reacher helmer Christopher McQuarrie and stars Tom Cruise, Jeremy Renner, Paula Patton, Simon Pegg, Alec Baldwin, America Olivo, Ving Rhames, Sean Harris, Simon McBurney & Rebecca Ferguson. Mission Impossible 5 was set to open 1 week after Star Wars: The Force Awakens. it was also set to open the same week as Alvin The Chipmunks 4, David O. Russells Joy and Alejandro González Iñárritu. it will now face off against the remake of Point Break, the Ryan Reynolds sci-fi film Selfless & the boxing drama Southpaw with Jake Gyllenhaal, Paramount has also moved the upcoming Monster Trucks movie from May 29th to December 25th. that film stars Jane Levy, Lucas Till, Danny Glover, Amy Ryan, Rob Lowe & Holt McCallany.
