Parent and Family Reminder Early Dismissal Wednesdays in District 186 Please note students will be dismissed one hour early every Wednesday during the 2014 – 2015 school-year beginning August 20th. • The purpose of the one-hour early dismissal is to provide teachers time to plan curriculum and receive professional development (throughout the school year), reduce the number of full days off from school, and increase the number of instructional days by adding 4 days of learning to the calendar. Ball Charter School students will not be dismissed one hour early and Douglas students will have a modified schedule. If you have specific questions please contact your childs school. Thank you!
