Parent of the year award here! We have a boy child we have nick-named Dramaticus due to his tendency to over-react. Hes even famous amongst his grandparents for his acting skills. That, combined with my tendency toward a lack of sympathy unless there is serious blood, bone showing, or throw up, leads me to doubt most reports from said child of life-threatening injuries (he hit me so hard with the Nerf ball, i KNOW its broken!). Most of you know where this is going. Almost 2 weeks ago this child fell on their elbow, claiming they were in more pain than they have EVER experienced in their life! I, of course, told them it was probably bruised and they were fine. Finally, after days of listening to moaning and groaning we got an x ray. Good news-its already heading, so no cast necessary. Bad news- a chip and 2 fractures (one headed up towards the shoulder, one headed down toward the wrist) so while theres no cast, no rough play allowed. Right, like thats gonna happen. Yall just pray for me now!
