Before it was released, the HR 550 Committee leadership ungraciously withdrew the invitation to present Parent Voices to the members. After placing the video on the agenda and then removing it, the committee has essentially moved to silence the parents of our state when it comes to the education of their children. Nearly every member of the committee has a connection to PRO-Common Core groups, lobbyists or money. We therefore offer it to you, in hopes it can help in the national effort to Stop Common Core in every state in which it has been adopted as well as bring to light the powerful suppression of parent, teacher and student voices.
