Parental licensing, take 3: Responding to Gurri & Horwitz Last week Adam Gurri (as a guest contributor) and Steve Horwitz posted rebuttals to my recent post on parental licensing. I appreciate the serious attention Adam and Steve gave this. Here I give 3 responses, 2 aimed primarily at Adam and 1 primarily at Steve. I also have a response to Adam’s worries about first principles libertarianism, but since that is a more general issue, I’ll leave it for a future post. Here I want to take issue with Adam’s shock at my proposal and address his and Steve’s concerns about the practical matters regarding implementing a parental licensing policy. (08/18/14)
