Parenting ethics question… Leah has handwritten a very long - TopicsExpress

Parenting ethics question… Leah has handwritten a very long paper. Taking the time to edit it with pencil and brain… But it has to be typed. It is due tomorrow and she has invested lots of hours and handwriting it. I am prepared to type this document for her. I type much faster than her on the assignment will get done in a third of the time. Is this ethical? One of the women at the office said no ... Part of the task was her learning how to type it. I said I was about to go as far as to allow it to be dictated into Dragon and pop it into a word document and simply edited LOL so I guess the question is... If Im helping my daughter with an advanced placement English paper… And trying to teach her ways to simplify and refine her educational technique. Is it appropriate for me to type this document for her? I would also like it mentioned that this is not a procrastination bail… We have planned on investing this time together to do it. This isnt a last-minute mom needs to make it up crap moment. It is not Leahs procrastination that has led to our decision. But the that she has a homework load she has because of her honors classes and the other responsibilities in them. I would really love some opinions. #goingtodoitantway
