Parents -- We need your help. I have told students that it is NOT ok to walk through neighbors yards on their way to/from school. Weve talked about the importance of using sidewalks to be safe and respectful. I am sad to report that some students continue to tromp through neighbors yards, even dismanting landscaping. This is certainly not how we want Patriot to be represented. If your student is a walker, but help me to reinforce this expecation. If you are a parent in the queue and see this taking place, please roll down your window and give those students a gentle reminder to stay on the sidewalks. I will continue to drive the point home from my end, but need reinforcement from everyone. I will ask the sheriff to please try to be present to help us monitor the situation, as well.
