Parents I have never been you so I say this humbly, your children need your time, your coaching , your encouragement , and your discipline more than they need your gifts,money, or being provided for. My generation, especially middle class, is one of children from good families who have been well provided for but have not been coached, encouraged, and disciplined. We are creating an orphaned and codependent mentality.lets break this thing by asking God to help us quit providing and start parenting in Jesus name.
