Parents: There will be NO SCHOOL at the STEM Academy tomorrow. Instead of attending class, teachers will post flipped assignments between 10am and 10:30am for students to begin working on from home. In order for attendance to be counted, students must work during the school day tomorrow on the flipped assignments. A 2 hour delay didn’t make sense for us as we dismiss at noon, so we are opting to have our students work virtually from home beginning around 10am. We also understand that this takes a commitment from our parents to make this work. We believe that this decision keeps our students the safest, which is our number one priority. If you have questions or concerns, please let me know. All staff and teachers will also be working beginning at 10am so feel free to contact them as well.
