Parents, please speak with your children, particularly teenagers.. There was a reported incident Sunday late afternoon of three teen males, dressed in cammo pants and hats. At least one was carrying binoculars and another rode a white bike. The teens started a tree on fire near the basketball courts and fled into the woods and on properties around the lake when approached. Running through the woods or properties dressed in cammo probably not a good idea right now. With all that has happened in recent days, people may be a little on edge, not to mention setting fire to a tree or playing with fire in a wooded area is never a good idea. There was a similar incident on a property by the lake involving younger boys making a camp fire a few weeks ago. A concerned resident saw the fire and put it out and the parents were notified. Thank you for having this dialogue.
