Parents/society uses religion as a way to shame their children. She should have been accepted by her parents as the girl she knew she was born to be. Her suicide is beyond tragic, but lets hope it starts to open eyes and hearts and we stop using God and religion to make people feel as if theyre not good enough and not loved. There is nothing my sons could ever say to me that would make me not love them nor accept them as anything other than who they are.
