Parish notes and Announcements Come close @ the Holy Cross The three days of Prayer & Fasting of Baoutha will be observed this year on February 10, 11 and 12. Daily Baoutha Prayers, in Chaldean, will be held at 11:00 am, followed by Mass at 12:00 noon, and in Arabic 6:00 pm the Baoutha Prayers followed by Mass at 7:00 pm. English Prayers will be offered at St. Thomas Church at 8:00 pm. All interested in participating are welcomed to attend the preparation nights on Thursdays at 6:00 pm with the Deacons and the other servers. Two great courses in the Teachings of the Catholic Church, the Practices of Faith and the Sacred Scriptures are being presented weekly: Mondays 7-9pm in Arabic and Wednesdays in English. Various speakers will be doing the presentations, we urge you to attend and benefit from these great opportunities which are open to all ages: 18+. Please bring along your copy of the Bible and of CCC. Thank you prayerfully for your generosity and support during the past year. Receipts and acknowledgments will be mailed to all donors soon. All amounts donated to the Church are tax deductible. We are appealing to you to renew your commitment in the new year 2014.
