Park House celebrates its Care team all year round, and it - TopicsExpress

Park House celebrates its Care team all year round, and it includes all those we employ, pictured here are just a few of the 150 team that have earned NVQ/QCF at levels 2,3,4 and 5 in a range of subjects that include Care, Management, Safety, Training supported by professional qualifications in food, safety and training. The photo’s shows us some of the Nurses, Carers, Senior Carers, Care Managers and some of the Cleaning team, all of whom must demonstrate caring skills as they go about their daily routines. We work with Pembrokeshire College for the Care Awards, having known and appreciated their efforts for some twenty years, we work with Network Training for supporting qualifications because in both cases they assess real work based Competence on the job using experienced people, and only issue Certification when Competence proven. This only applies to EU nationals who have good English. To support those that fall outside funding opportunities we have our own City & Guilds and CIEH Centre Approvals and deliver all that we need internally. This is very cost effective, demonstrates zero down time for the employer, and allows the learner to proceed at own pace, L2/3 Care Diplomas being completed within nine months, with supporting certification in legislation, and all delivered by an experienced, qualified trainer/assessment team. We have always supported other businesses, Tony Sawyer doing so for over twenty years in west Wales, and is about to roll this opportunity out to all those not able to access EU funding. Individuals or businesses can contact him on parkhousecourt@aol, (it’s his address), to arrange a visit, find out more about how it works in practice. No one else is offering this cost effective service that has to date included English and I.T. lessons on site, and offer many other languages to support learners away from the residents
