Parking Patrol Officer - Rockdale x 2 Positions Rockdale City Council is seeking to employ a highly motivated and experienced Parking Patrol Officer within its City Planning and Development Department. Reporting to the Senior Parking Patrol Officer, the position is predominantly responsible for the enforcement of parking regulations throughout the City. Essential Requirements Proven knowledge of the NSW Road Rules Good communication and negotiation skills To be resourceful and work with minimum supervision Current Class C drivers licence This challenging position demands good communication, conflict resolution and mediation skills, along with basic computer literacy. Applications will be supported by a proven ability to write clear and concise correspondence and reports and prepare evidence for court proceedings. Salary and conditions are in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award 2014 for a 38 hour week based on a nine day fortnight. The position is currently at Grade 5 in Council’s Salary System with an entry level of $901.77 per week, with progression to $1009.97 per week upon the attainment of certain skills. The successful applicant may also participate in Saturday work at an overtime rate of payment.
