Parkland Hospital in Dallas, TX was were the President died and is the central subject of this film which premiered on a limited basis the first week of November and is now available on DVD. Starring Billy Bob Thornton as Forrest Sorrels the head of Secret Service in Dallas. Zack Efron as the attending physician in the Parkland ER and Paul Giamatti as Abraham Zabruder whose famous 8MM film captured the tragedy of a Presidential assassination. Based on first hand accounts, written records and archival information this does not deal with any of the conspiracies just the details of that tragic day in Dallas. Very well acted and historically sound, Parkland, is a difinitive movie about one of Americas worst days. 4 out of 5 stars.
