Parkland College (Champaign, IL) seeks a radio/communications faculty member (tenure-track) with at least two years college and/or commercial radio experience, who will instruct in radio ad audio production, and in broadcast courses that over a broad range of theory and application including, but not limited to, media communication, public speaking and broadcast writing; will participate in college program activities, will work collaboratively with colleagues in the department, will be committed to assisting in the assessment/growth/success of the program, will prepare a syllabus for each course and distribute it early each term, will be available for student advising and mentoring, will provide assistance to students in a timely fashion and will utilize background in information systems management/IT/related fields or educational information systems.
